About

The English Classroom AB is a Swedish edtech company founded in 2019 by Jennifer Gardner, a qualified UK teacher. Our English language teaching material is used by over 7,800 registered teachers across more than 80 countries, including UNRWA-supported education contexts, which means the corpus has been tested and iterated upon based on usage in real classrooms rather than produced for the purpose of being sold as data.

Everything we license was produced in-house by a single author over seven years. The core asset is a complete CEFR-graded English curriculum from A1 to C2, with native British English audio recorded by the author. Every item carries a CEFR level assigned at the point of writing by the person who wrote it, so the difficulty labels are consistent and were not applied retrospectively by a third party. Because the set was built as one sequenced curriculum rather than assembled from many contributors, vocabulary progression, difficulty grading and instructional structure hold across the whole range, from beginner to proficiency level. The audio is paired with its source text and read by one consistent native speaker throughout. Alongside the curriculum we hold seven years of original operational and marketing material generated whilst building and running the company, all authored by the same person.

We own 100% of what we license. No third-party content, no user-generated content, no purchased or licensed-in material. The speaker on every audio recording is the founder and rights holder, so consent for AI training and voice likeness comes directly from the person recorded rather than through a historical performer release. There is no chain of rights to trace and no ambiguity about who can grant permission.

No personal data is included in any product. Customer records, teacher accounts, audience and follower data and third-party correspondence are excluded by design, and operational material is anonymised before delivery. As a Swedish company we treat GDPR compliance as a precondition of listing rather than a disclosure. Full provenance documentation is available per product on request.
