- Country: The country where the project originated. The United States represents 78% of the projects in the dataset.
- Launched: The exact date and time when the project was launched on the Kickstarter platform. Dates span from 22nd April 2009 to 2nd January 2018.
- Deadline: The scheduled date by which the crowdfunding campaign was set to conclude. Deadlines range from 3rd May 2009 to 3rd March 2018.
- Goal: The monetary target in US Dollars (USD) the creator aimed to raise. Goals vary significantly, from 0 to 166 million USD, with an average of 45.9k USD.
- Pledged: The total amount of money in US Dollars (USD) actually pledged by backers to the project. Amounts range from 0 to 20.3 million USD, with an average of 9.12k USD.
- Backers: The total number of unique individuals who pledged money to the project. The number of backers ranges from 0 to 219,000, with an average of 107 backers per project.
- State: The current and final status of the project as of 2nd January 2018. Projects are classified as 'Failed' (53%), 'Successful' (36%), or 'Other' (12%).
