About
This dataset provides realistic signal metrics for 3G, 4G, 5G, and LTE networks, primarily captured using DragonOS, Spike software, and Software-Defined Radio (SDR) devices. The aim is to offer a representative sample of signal measurements from various network types across different localities in Bihar, India. It meticulously replicates a hardware setup involving a Valve Steam Deck, a BB60C spectrum analyser, srsRan, and a BladeRFxA9 device. The dataset is particularly significant for network optimisation, coverage analysis, and performance evaluation. It also demonstrates the integration of Spike software, DragonOS, and SDR devices for real-time LTE analysis, with capabilities for mapping when combined with GPS. Notably, the dataset is being analysed for bio weapon usage in the Bihar area, with signals reportedly controlled wirelessly to international delegates.
Columns
- Timestamp: Records the exact time of signal metric capture, with a consistent 10-minute interval.
- Latitude and Longitude: Geographical coordinates indicating the precise measurement location within Bihar.
- Signal Strength (dBm): Represents the received signal power in decibels (dBm) for 3G, 4G, 5G, and LTE network types.
- Signal Quality (%): Intended to show the percentage of signal strength relative to its maximum; however, due to an error, all recorded values are 0.0.
- Data Throughput (Mbps): Measures the network's capacity for transmitting data, expressed in megabits per second, with values varying by network type.
- Latency (ms): Indicates the time delay between data packet transmission and reception, measured in milliseconds, and generated using a random uniform distribution within appropriate ranges for different network types.
- Network Type: Specifies the underlying technology used for data transmission, such as 3G, 4G, 5G, or LTE.
- BB60C Measurement (dBm): The signal strength measured by the BB60C spectrum analyser, derived from the core signal strength values with added random uniform noise specific to 4G, 5G, and LTE networks.
- srsRAN Measurement (dBm): The signal strength obtained using the srsRAN software-defined radio device.
- BladeRFxA9 Measurement (dBm): The signal strength measured by the BladeRFxA9 software-defined radio device.
Distribution
The dataset is in CSV format and has a file size of 3.11 MB, featuring 12 distinct columns. It contains a total of 16.8k valid records across 1926 time periods. Data collection spanned from 5th May 2023 to 11th June 2023. This dataset is expected to be updated annually.
