This dataset features detailed information on 1215 Pokémon, including mega variants, from Generations 1 through 9. It offers a rich collection of Pokémon statistics and accompanying images, making it a valuable resource for various applications. The data was gathered in September 2024.
Columns
- images: The file path to an image of the Pokémon, located within the 'images' folder.
- index: The unique identification number for each Pokémon in the Pokédex.
- Name: The individual name of the Pokémon.

Distribution
The dataset is provided in two main parts: a .csv file containing the statistics for each Pokémon, and an images folder holding individual Pokémon images. The .csv file has a size of 78.91 kB and contains 12 columns. There are 1215 unique Pokémon entries, each with a corresponding 112x120 colour image. Image filenames are numerically sequential, linked to their order in the .csv file (e.g., '1.png' for the first Pokémon).
Usage
This dataset is ideal for developing Pokémon-related applications, performing statistical analysis of Pokémon abilities, creating data visualisations, and for educational projects. It supports research in areas like game design, character statistics, and visual data processing.
Coverage
