About
This extensive collection offers detailed insights into the competitive history of the Pokémon Trading Card Game, spanning all official tournaments conducted between 2011 and 2023. The data captures every individual Pokémon and Trainer card utilised within these successful decks, excluding basic Energy cards to focus on strategic relevance. It is engineered for analysis, specifically standardising card identifiers to their first-ever printing to allow researchers to track how staple cards perform and evolve across competitive seasons over a decade. The dataset links card usage directly to player performance, deck strategies (combos), tournament importance, and historical rotation rules.
