Data originates from a commercial sales database and is suitable for analysing global market trends, product category performance, and price variation dynamics. The records track essential information such as product category, destination country, item quantity, and total price per item. Note that a single invoice number may contain multiple item entries, and pricing is subject to variation based on time, country, or specific customer.
Columns
- ID: Row Identifier.
- Date: The date of the transaction.
- Category: The main product category for the sold item.
- Invoice Number: Unique identifier for the sales invoice; each invoice may list several items.
- Product Code: The identifier associated with the sold product.
- Customer Code: The identifier associated with the purchasing customer.
- Destenation: The destination country, encoded using the ISO 3166-1 alpha-3 standard.
- QTY: The quantity of the specific item mentioned in the invoice.
- Total Price: The total monetary value corresponding to the quantity listed in the QTY column.
Distribution
The data is provided in CSV file format, named ExportSales.csv, with a size of approximately 487.36 kB. The collection contains 7,811 valid records across nine columns. New data is expected to be updated on a quarterly basis.
