Columns

  • work_year: Represents the year the salary was paid.
  • job_title: Describes the specific role worked in during the year.
  • experience_level: Indicates the experience level in the job, categorised as EN (Entry level / Junior), MI (Mid level / Intermediate), SE (Senior level / Expert), and EX (Executive level / Director).
  • employment_type: Specifies the type of employment for the role, including PT (Part time), FT (Full time), CT (Contract), and FL (Freelance).
  • salary: The total gross salary amount paid.
  • salary_currency: The currency of the salary paid, represented as an ISO 4217 currency code.
  • salary_in_usd: The salary converted to USD, calculated using the FX rate divided by the average USD rate for the respective year via fxdata.foorilla.com.
  • employee_residence: The employee's primary country of residence during the work year, specified as an ISO 3166 country code.
  • company_location: The country where the employer's main office or contracting branch is located, as an ISO 3166 country code.
  • company_size: The median number of people employed by the company during the year, categorised as S (small - Less than 50 employees), M (medium - 50 to 250 employees), and L (large - More than 250 employees).
  • remote_ratio: The overall amount of work done remotely, indicated as 0 (No Remote Work, less than 20%), 50 (Partially Remote), or 100 (Fully Remote, more than 80%).
