- Recognition of same-sex unions: States whether same-sex unions are legally recognised (encoded as Boolean True/False).
- Same-sex marriage: States whether same-sex marriage is legally recognised (encoded as Boolean True/False).
- Adoption by same-sex couples: Details the legality of adoption rights for same-sex couples.
- LGBT people allowed to serve openly in military?: Notes whether LGBT+ individuals are permitted to serve openly in the military.
