Columns

  • Name: The full name of the billionaire. This column is 100% valid with 2752 unique names.
  • NetWorth: The individual's net worth, expressed in billions of US dollars. Values range from 1.00 to 177.00, with a mean of 4.75.
  • Country: The country of origin for the billionaire. There are 70 unique countries, with the United States and China being the most frequent.
  • Source: The primary source of the individual's wealth. This column contains 924 unique sources, including real estate and pharmaceuticals as common examples.
  • Rank: The billionaire's official rank on the Forbes list for 2021. Ranks vary from 1 to 2674, with a mean rank of 1350.
  • Age: The age of the billionaire. Ages range from 18 to 99, with a mean age of 63.3. Approximately 5% of entries are missing.
  • Residence: The city and country of residence. There are 768 unique residences, with Beijing, China, and New York, New York, being among the most common. About 1% of entries are missing.
  • Citizenship: The country of citizenship. Similar to 'Country', the United States and China are frequently observed. Roughly 1% of entries are missing.
  • Status: The marital status of the individual. 'Married' is the most frequent status, accounting for 63% of valid entries. There is a substantial 24% of missing data for this column.
  • Children: The number of children the billionaire has. Values range from 1 to 23, with a mean of 2.98 children. This column has a notable 44% of missing data.
  • Education: Details about the individual's educational background. Over 1100 unique educational institutions or levels are noted, though nearly half of the entries (49%) are missing.
  • Self_made: A boolean indicator (true/false) signifying whether the individual is considered self-made. 71% are classified as self-made, with approximately 1% missing data.

Distribution

The dataset is provided as a CSV file named forbes_billionaires.csv, with a size of 355.45 kB. It comprises 12 columns and consists of 2755 records, detailing each billionaire's information.
