  • How many hours per week on AVERAGE do you work...?: The average weekly hours worked, including non-billable time.
  • Have you gotten an OFFER from another company this year?: A Boolean field indicating if the respondent received an external job offer within the specified year.
  • Was the offer from another CONSULTING FIRM?: Specifies if the external offer was made by another consulting organisation.
  • Which firm was the HIGHEST (base compensation) OFFER from?: The name of the firm that made the highest-paying external offer.
  • Was the OFFER for a Commercial or Federal practice?: The practice area (Commercial or Federal) associated with the offered role.
  • What was the OFFERED title (or equivalent)?: The title associated with the external offer.
  • What COUNTRY was the OFFER based out of?: The country where the offered role was based.
  • What was the HIGHEST OFFERED annual base compensation in USD...: The annual base salary (in USD) of the highest external offer.
  • What was the total annual BONUS OFFERED?: The bonus amount associated with the highest external offer.
  • Did you accept the offer?: The final outcome regarding the acceptance of the offer.

Distribution

The data is provided as a raw dataset exported from Google Forms, typically supplied as a CSV file named Consulting_survey_DataSet.csv. The file size is 657.79 kB and contains 19 columns. The total number of entries is 4200 records. Note that as a raw export, the data may require cleaning due to self-reporting limitations, potential validation inconsistencies, and possible duplicate entries.
