Columns
The data is organised into two separate CSV files:
weed_clean.csv:state: The full name of the US state.state_s: The postal abbreviation for the state.highQ_price_ounce: The price per ounce for high-quality cannabis.medQ_price_ounce: The price per ounce for medium-quality cannabis.total_population: The overall population count.percent_white: The percentage of the population identified as white.percent_black: The percentage of the population identified as black.percent_asian: The percentage of the population identified as Asian.percent_hispanic: The percentage of the population identified as Hispanic.per_capita_income: Per capita income, measured in USD.median_rent: Median rent figures, measured in USD.median_age: Median age figures.
regulations.csv:state: The full name of the US state (used to link withweed_clean.csv).legality: Describes the overall legal status (e.g., Medical, Fully Legal). Medical status accounts for 57% of entries.medicinal: A boolean field indicating whether medical cannabis is legal (True for 76% of entries).decriminalized: A boolean field indicating whether recreational cannabis is decriminalised (True for 63% of entries).
