This dataset provides historical league standings for every English Premier League season from its inception in 1992-93 right through to the 2023-24 season. The Premier League stands as the top tier of the English football league system, featuring 20 clubs that operate under a system of promotion and relegation. Each season typically runs from August to May, with every team playing 38 matches. Since its establishment in 1992, fifty-one distinct clubs have competed, including forty-nine English and two Welsh teams. Seven of these clubs have successfully claimed the league title: Manchester United, Manchester City, Chelsea, Arsenal, Blackburn Rovers, Leicester City, and Liverpool.
