- Rank: The game's ranking within the top 200 for a specific month (1 - 200).

- Year: The year of the data observation (2016-2024).
- Hours_watched: The total hours viewers spent watching the game or category on Twitch. Values range from approximately 89.8 thousand to 345 million hours.
- Hours_streamed: The total hours streamed for the game or category on Twitch. Values range from 19 to 10.2 million hours.
- Peak_viewers: The maximum number of concurrent viewers recorded at any single instant for the game or category. Values range from 441 to 3.92 million viewers.
- Peak_channels: The maximum number of concurrent channels streaming the game or category at any single instant. Values range from 1 to 130 thousand channels.
- Streamers: The total amount of unique streamers who streamed the game or category. Values range from 0 to 1.73 million streamers.
- Avg_viewers: The average number of viewers for the game or category. Values range from 120 to 479 thousand viewers.
- Avg_channels: The average number of channels streaming the game or category. Values range from 0 to 13.8 thousand channels.
- Avg_viewer_ratio: The average ratio of viewers per channel for the game or category. Values range from 1.4 to 29.6 thousand.
Distribution
The data is primarily available in a CSV file format. The main dataset,
Twitch_game_data.csv, is approximately 1.64 MB in size. It contains 200 observations for each month covered, with a total of 21,000 records detailing the performance of top games and categories. A supplementary smaller file, Twitch_global_data, provides general Twitch viewership statistics with one observation per month.Usage
