Columns

- Votes: The count of electoral college votes assigned to that state following its entry into the Union. Vote counts range from 0 up to 55. Note that approximately 23% of records in this column are missing, primarily for states that had not yet entered the union.

Coverage

The Confederacy is specifically recorded with zero votes for the 1864 election.
