The AKYS Road Horizon Series Dataset captures real-world driving conditions across Lithuania and Europe using a professional mobile mapping setup. Each minute of data is processed into a structured bundle containing video, geolocation, annotation metadata, and environmental context.
The dataset is designed for AI model training, autonomous systems research, GIS analysis, and mobility data applications.
Dataset Features
Each dataset bundle includes the following synchronised elements:

2K Dashcam 2x Videos Front and Rear (MP4) Clean, stabilised forward-facing footage with EU-compliant face and license plate blurring.

Object Detection Annotations (JSON) YOLO-style per-frame bounding boxes for ≈80 classes (cars, people, trucks, traffic lights, signs, animals, etc.).

Lane Segmentation Pixel-level lanes, road edges, drivable area masks (trained with segmentation models + human correction).

Depth Maps (Colour + Grayscale) Per-frame depth estimation using neural stereo/depth models.

GNSS Metadata (CSV/JSON) GPS position, speed, heading, and UTC timestamps extracted directly from the video metadata.
