It is curated for an English-speaking audience, with non-ASCII and non-Latin characters removed from text fields to ensure consistency. The dataset also includes a selection of 20 random comments per video, offering insights into audience reactions.
Columns
- video_id: A unique identifier for each YouTube video.
- title: The title of the trending video.
- channel_id: The unique identifier for the YouTube channel that published the video.
- channel_title: The name of the YouTube channel.
- published_at: The date and time when the video was published.
- view_count: The total number of times the video has been viewed.
- likes: The number of 'likes' the video received.
- dislikes: The number of 'dislikes' the video received, crucial given the context of YouTube hiding this metric.
- comment_count: The total number of comments posted on the video.
- tags: A single string containing all tags associated with the video.
