Columns
messages: The content of the user comments written in the live stream chat.all_authors: Unique YouTube IDs that identify the authors who posted comments.timestamps: The exact timing of the comments. Note that timestamps, such as those beginning with a minus sign (e.g., -8:42), refer to comments posted in the "waiting room" before the official live broadcast started.money donated: The value of the financial donation made by the user. If a user did not provide a donation, this column holds a 0. The donated amounts are recorded in their original currency and are not converted into US dollars.
Distribution
The dataset currently includes 2.1 million individual messages (records). The structure features four primary fields detailing the message content, author ID, timing, and donation amount. The data file is typically provided in a platform-accessible format, such as CSV. Please note that messages from Trial days 9, 11, 13, and 14 are not yet included in this current data release.
