  • Month: The month when the statistics were tracked for the state or area, from 1 to 12.
  • Total Civilian Non-Institutional Population in State/Area: The total number of non-institutionalised civilians residing in the state or area, with values ranging from approximately 232,000 to 31.2 million.
  • Total Civilian Labor Force in State/Area: The total number of civilians eligible for employment residing in the state or area, with values from around 160,000 to 19.6 million.
  • Percent (%) of State/Area's Population: The percentage of civilians eligible for employment out of the total non-institutionalised civilian population, ranging from 51% to 75.7%.
  • Total Employment in State/Area: The total number of civilians currently employed in the state or area, with values from approximately 149,000 to 18.8 million.
  • Percent (%) of Labor Force Employed in State/Area: The percentage of currently employed civilians out of the total non-institutionalised civilian population, ranging from 41.6% to 73.1%.
  • Total Unemployment in State/Area: The total number of civilians currently unemployed in the state or area, with values from around 4,980 to 3.02 million.
  • Percent (%) of Labor Force Unemployed in State/Area: The percentage of currently unemployed civilians out of the total non-institutionalised civilian population, ranging from 1.9% to 30.6%.
