Columns
The dataset is organised into six distinct CSV files, each containing specific information:
- medicine.csv: Includes the brand name of medicines, their medicine type (either allopathic or herbal), the generic name, strength, manufacturer, package container details (including unit price and pack information), and package size alongside unit price. Note that some additional cleaning may be required for the "Package Container" and "Package Size" columns to fully extract package and price information.
- manufacturer.csv: Lists the name of pharmaceutical manufacturers.
- indication.csv: Contains the name of various medical indications.
- generic.csv: Provides the name of generics, a monographic link (PDF URL), drug class, associated indication, and specific generic details such as "Indication description", "Pharmacology description", and "Dosage & Administration description".
- drug class.csv: Contains the name of different drug classes.
- dosage form.csv: Lists the name of various dosage forms.

The dataset is provided as a collection of 6 CSV files.

file lists 123 entries, with 113 unique dosage form names identified, where 'Capsule (Sustained Release)' is the most common. The number of brand names associated with dosage forms varies, with a mean of 196 and a maximum of 9368.
