  • Sales: The estimated number of copies sold worldwide, expressed in millions. Sales figures vary significantly, from 23.0 million to a maximum of 238 million, with an average of 42 million copies sold.
  • Series: The name of the game series to which the video game belongs, if applicable. "Super Mario" and "Pokémon" are the most common series represented, accounting for 14% and 12% of entries respectively, across 23 unique series.
  • Platform(s): The gaming platform(s) on which the video game is accessible, including console, PC, or mobile devices. "Multi-platform" is the most frequent category, covering 50% of the entries, spanning 13 unique platform descriptions.
  • Initial release date: The inaugural date the video game was made available to the public. Release dates within the dataset range from 22 May 1980 to 20 March 2020, with an average release date of 8 March 2008.
  • Developer(s): The name(s) of the individual(s) or company responsible for creating and programming the game. "Nintendo EAD" is the most common developer, responsible for 26% of the games, across 27 unique developers.
  • Publisher(s): The name(s) of the individual(s) or company in charge of marketing and distributing the game. "Nintendo" is the primary publisher, responsible for 44% of the games, across 18 unique publishers.
