Information on games and Downloadable Content (DLCs) is gathered from the Steam Storefront, SteamSpy, and Steam Reviews. This dataset provides an updated collection of Steam data, including information on DLCs which was previously missing from similar datasets. It aims to offer a detailed view by retaining as much of the original data as possible, with minimal cleaning. The data was last updated on 25 May 2022.
Columns
The
missing_ids.csv file contains the following columns:- appid: The application ID for a game or DLC.
- reason: A brief explanation for why the AppID was removed during data cleanup or could not be collected, such as "Missing app name" or "Steam Storefront Error".
Distribution
The dataset is composed of nine separate tables, including
steam.csv, steam_description_data.csv, steam_media_data.csv, and missing_ids.csv, among others. The missing_ids.csv file, for instance, has a size of 17.64 kB and contains two columns.Usage
