The data was curated by scraping information from the web and merging material from various sources. Columns

The dataset includes 10 distinct fields:
  • Index: The sequential index identifier for the row.
  • ID (Content ID): A unique identifier for the movie or show.
  • Title: The name of the movie or show. This field contains nearly 14,900 unique values.
  • Year: The year of production.
  • Rating: Information regarding age restriction or targeted audience. Note that approximately 59% of records are missing values in this column.
  • IMDb: The IMDb rating score, measured out of 10.0. The ratings range from 0 to 9.8.
  • Rotten Tomatoes: The Rotten Tomatoes score expressed as a percentage out of 100. Scores range from 10 to 94.
  • Genre: The genre associated with the movie or show. 'Drama' is the most common genre, accounting for 25% of the data.
  • Netflix: A binary flag (1 or 0) indicating whether the content is available on Netflix.
  • Amazon Prime Video: A binary flag (1 or 0) indicating whether the content is available on Amazon Prime Video.

Distribution

The data is provided in a CSV file format, titled Popular Movies TV shows from Prime Videos Netflix version_3.csv, and has a size of 1.41 MB. The structure consists of 10 columns and contains approximately 24,700 total records. All columns are 100% valid, with the exception of the 'Rating' column, which has significant missing values, and the 'IMDb' column, which has a small percentage of mismatched entries.
