Columns
The data is provided in CSV format and contains 5 columns:
- Date: The date of the report in DD-MM-YYYY format. This column has 282 unique values and is 100% valid.
- State: The name of the province or state. There are 35 unique state entries recorded, and this field is 100% valid.
- Total Confirmed Cases: The cumulative number of confirmed cases recorded as of the specific date. The maximum recorded figure is 1.84 million, with a mean of 89.8 thousand. This field is 100% valid.
- Cured/Discharged/Migrated: The cumulative count of recovered cases, including those cured, discharged, or migrated, as of the specific date. This column is 96% valid, with 4% of entries missing. The maximum figure recorded is 1.71 million, with a mean of 79.6 thousand.
- Death: The cumulative number of deaths recorded as of the specific date. This column is 96% valid, with 4% of entries missing. The maximum recorded figure is 47.6 thousand, with a mean of 1.52 thousand.
Distribution
The material is available in a CSV file titled
covid19-india-statewise-timeseries.csv, which is 333.48 kB in size. The dataset consists of 9,067 valid records across 5 columns. Data quality is very high, with the Date, State, and Total Confirmed Cases fields being 100% valid, although the recovery and death columns each have 345 missing values.Usage
