About
Information on the status of schools globally during the COVID-19 pandemic is provided here. In response to the pandemic, many governments temporarily closed educational institutions, a measure that impacted over 60% of the world's student population. This collection details school closure statuses and dates, alongside student enrollment figures for pre-primary, primary, secondary, and tertiary education levels across various countries. The data, current as of 30 July 2020, was gathered to understand the educational consequences of the pandemic and the subsequent shift towards remote learning solutions.
